Outside the Queensway, that is — far outside the Queensway. Like, very nearly in an alternate dimension from that in which what we call the Queensway exists. I believe the locals call it “Calgary”.

So, as I may have mentioned once or ninety times, earlier this week, I donned my ninja gear, scaled the barbed wire fence and headed Outside The Queensway to attend a conference on politics, technology and the evolution of the so-called Permanent Campaign, which the organizers described as “a non-stop political battle for attention, momentum and influence.”
We walk the streets at night … we go where eagles dare …
Fear not, readers — despite the fact that MPs have absconded from the Hill to spend the next two weeks in the riding, pestering constituents over whether they’re up for a spring election, ITQ will not be going dark for the duration of the Easter Break.
