Federer as religious experience
Two years ago a friend who loves tennis, Roger Federer and David Foster Wallace (in that order) made me read “Federer as Religious Experience.” I’d never read anything by Wallace, found dead Friday of an apparent suicide. I’ve been hooked on Federer ever since. If you like tennis, Federer or Wallace (and especially if you like all three) you should read this.
