A royal brooch’s journey from Saskatchewan to Norfolk

Three months after Saskatchewan’s Lieutenant-Governor Vaughn Solomon Schofield presented the Queen with a brooch created by local designer Rachel Mielke of the Hillberg & Berk jewellery line, Her Majesty wore the brooch pinned to a pink tweed coat at church in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. For a monarch who always wears a brooch, and who loves wearing pink, it was the perfect gift.
